Taneko Chapman(Neko) is a 29 year old portraitist & San Jose, Ca native. Her drawings/paintings are characterized by the use of everyday people and their emotions. "By taking daily life as subject matter while portraying on the everyday aesthetics of your normal bystander, she seduces the viewer into a world of ongoing equilibrium." She often challenges your everyday view on beauty through her use of attention to body detail. The inherent visual seductiveness, along with the conciseness of the exhibitions is what introduced her to a new found love of body painting.
